VEX Robotics has recently released two additions to its robotics repertoire. VEX 123 and VEX GO now round out the VEX products providing schools the opportunity to provide K-12 aligned curriculum and products to support STEM education in the classroom. Each grade band product has free curriculum to be used in the classroom, after-school programs, or in out-of-school settings. The ADE STEM Unit is collaborating with the University of Arkansas at Little Rock to promote the 5-week summer STRIVE program to expand educator knowledge and experience within careers that utilize STEM skills. This professional learning experience through business internships around the state will empower teachers to build student awareness of and preparation for jobs that require STEM skills that they are teaching.
