Another opportunity this fall to play with the little toy robot called an Ozobot! Using different colored markers, you will create coded playgrounds for the Ozobot to follow. Watch the Ozobot go from turtle speed to moonwalking to tornado spinning, using your color codes! Come learn about coding and be creative through an ozobot! The event is Monday, November 18, 2019, from 4-6 p.m. and the event is led by our Conductor Educators Sharon and Anita, who will bring fun and enthusiasm to the participants!
These classes are FREE and designed to introduce young makers, ages 8-16, to the world of innovation! Supplies and instruction are supplied by the Makerspace staff. For child safety, we ask that Parents remain responsible for any child under the age of 14 during the duration of the class.
Makerspace is powered by the University of Central Arkansas and the Conductor.
This event is held in conjunction with Global Entrepreneurship Week. During one week each November, thousands of events and competitions in 170 countries inspire millions to engage in entrepreneurial activity while connecting them to potential collaborators, mentors and even investors. Powered by the Kauffman Foundation, the initiative is supported by dozens of world leaders and a network of more than 15,000 partner organizations. GEW is held November 18-22, 2019.
