Windstream Girls CODE | UA Little Rock

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is hosting a FREE Windstream Girls CODE Program for current 7 & 8 graders interested in pursuing computer science, information science, or web design from July 18 to July 23 in 2021. The objective of this outreach initiative is to motivate academically prepared females to enter the fields of computer science, information science, or web design. This one-week residential camp is for rising 8th and 9th grade students. In addition to hands-on instruction, students will attend seminars featuring female professionals to learn more about opportunities available for females in computer and information science. In addition, attendees will learn how to overcome and remove potential obstacles in a male dominated field.
