Receive training in three internationally recognized environmental education programs in one day and get eight hours of ADE-approved professional development credit.
Participants receive four activity guides filled with hundreds of proven hands-on activities — all correlated to the state and national education frameworks.
· Project WILD brings the wonders of wildlife into your classroom while teaching students about our natural environment. Project WILD is designed to teach students of all ages about wildlife and their habitats.
· Project WET inspires students to respect our precious water resources and to understand the importance of sound water management and their personal commitment to environmental protection.
· Project Learning Tree uses the forest as a “window on the world” to increase students’ understanding of our complex environment, to stimulate critical and creative thinking, and to develop the ability to make informed decisions on environmental issues.
Participants must stay for the full 8 hour training in order to receive the curriculum guides and the 8 hours of PD. Participants are asked to please bring a sack lunch.
