Video Game Coding Competition

November 2, 2022 - April 3, 2023

The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) Office of Computer Science announced the fourth Great Arkansas History Video Game Coding Competition (GAHVGCC).

The competition is open to Arkansas public, private, and homeschool students in the 4th – 8th grades, and will allow them to demonstrate their coding abilities while supporting literary growth and expanding their knowledge of Arkansas History.

This year’s theme is “My Favorite Arkansas Ghost Story” – focusing on the rich history and dark mysteries of the Natural State.

Submissions accepted March 27 – April 3, 2023.
