Our Tech for Good competition challenges 6th – 12th grade girls to team up, and work together to develop an app, website, computer program, 3D printer template, or anything else “tech” that they’re inspired to create! Teams are allowed to have up to 4 members. Tech for Good allows girls to use their tech skills to make something that helps others!
This year, we are proud to announce that we have formally partnered with Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance. To be eligible for the competition, teams must create tech that addresses issues of hunger in our state. This technology project must either assist communities, leaders, and/or non-profits to better address issues of hunger within the state of Arkansas.
Hunger Relief Alliance has provided a video describing the issues surrounding food security in our state, needs that could be addressed via technology to solve it, and other helpful information for girls to brainstorm their projects. Please follow this link and watch the video below before beginning your project!
