Self-Paced Workshop: Introduction to Cyber:bot

April 1, 2021 @ 8:00 am - April 30, 2021 @ 5:00 pm

- Free
Free, asynchronous professional development for 6th – 12th grade teachers!

About this Event

The cyber:bot merges a micro:bit with a robotics chassis for a platform that is ideal for hands-on learning. CYBER.ORG’s Cyber Literacy and Cyber Literacy 2 courses utilize the cyber:bot to help students build strong cyber foundations. In this self-paced workshop, you will build and program a cyber:bot using Python and learn projects and strategies for teaching with the cyber:bot.

By signing up for this workshop, you will receive one month of access to self-paced lessons, video tutorials, and virtual support from CYBER.ORG’s instructors. Eligible teachers will also receive one free cyber:bot.

This workshop is funded through a grant from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. Due to grant funding restrictions, this workshop is only open to K-12 educators in the US.
