Join us for this fun, interactive, and educational day focusing on the topic of insect pollinators. Come learn about pollinators and how to use these environmental education activities with your children, students, campers, and scouts. These hands-on, interactive lessons are correlated to state and national education frameworks.
Participants will receive training in the internationally recognized environmental education program Project Learning Tree (www.plt.org), a respected and proven environmental education curriculum. Each participant will receive a PLT curriculum and activity guide containing 96 interdisciplinary activities tested for grades PreK-8 but fun and educational for all grade levels.
This workshop qualifies for 6 hours of ADE professional development for teachers. Participants must stay for full workshop in order to receive the guide and PD hours. Participants are asked to please bring a sack lunch.
