SHE camp is a girls only camp developed specifically for young women who will enter 7th-9th grades, this camp is presented by the University of Arkansas College of Engineering. During this non-residential weeklong camp, students will participate in engaging, hands-on activities designed with a real world theme to expose them to all the things a girl can do as engineering. The summer 2018 theme is “Outbreak! Engineering an Epidemic.” Activities include developing a ventilated biohazard suit, creating virus and anti-viral models, modeling the spread of epidemic, and many more tasks required to combat an emerging pandemic.
