Date: June 28 – July 2, 2021
This camp uses “The LAUNCH Cycle” which is an engineering design cycle to solve problems. The Launch Cycle is a type of engineering design cycle that allows students to learn about NGSS engineering standards. The Launch Cycle includes steps that the students use as a model to solve their engineering/real world problems. Each letter of LAUNCH stands for something: Look, listen and learn, Ask Questions, Understand the Problem, Navigate Ideas; Create a Prototype, and Highlight and Fix (improve). The final step is to LAUNCH to an audience- share or present to others. This camp allows students to feel relevance in their learning, see possibilities of the impact that they will make, and take ownership of their own learning in all areas of STEAM. Students will LOVE this NASA Engineering and Exploration experience! Students will be accepted in the order they register.
