This 2-day workshop will focus on what it takes to grow certified timber to provide raw materials to forest product manufacturers in the state. Topics include sustainable forest management, benefits of forest certification, economic contributions of the forest industry, plus a tour of an operational dimensional lumber sawmill and an oriented strand board (OSB) mill. This session qualifies for 12 hours of ADE-approved PD.
