Use free, classroom-ready resources to enhance data literacy skills and to teach various curriculum concepts in life science, such as natural selection and ecology. We will model and reflect on techniques for implementing the NGSS science practices and cross-cutting concepts in the classroom including graph interpretation, data analysis, computational thinking, and evidence-based reasoning. Session will be held at University of Central Arkansas STEM Institute. Cost: Free. Lunch is provided by HHMI Biointeractive.
