This 60-minute after school interactive webinar offered by the Central Comprehensive Center (C3), South Central Comprehensive Center (SC3), Center on Standards and Assessment Implementation (CSAI), and C3/SC3 Formative Assessment Bi-regional Advisory Board is the fourth in a series of informational webinars designed to support high-quality formative assessment at the state, district, school, and classroom levels.

- Classroom teachers and instructional coaches, as well as district and school leaders, who have responsibilities for standards-aligned curriculum and instruction, assessment, special populations, professional learning, school improvement, and/or ESSA implementation
- Any State Education Agency (SEA) member whose work with districts has direct impact on teaching, learning, student achievement, and student growth
Webinar Goals: This webinar will help participants
- understand what formative assessment is and is not;
- know the elements of formative assessment;
- learn how teachers can establish the culture, climate, and structures of effective formative assessment implementation; and
- build teachers’ capacity to implement formative assessment, including knowing where to find resources.
