This supplemental STEM curriculum is initially designed for grades 6-9 containing over 400 math, science, English and social studies lessons focused on STEM careers and technologies. It is being used in some lower classes and standalone STEM classes, but a math specialist would need to help students with the math lessons. The lessons are @12 minutes in length intended to lay a foundation for upper level math, science and technology coursework. All lessons are aligned to CCSS and NGSS. In addition to the online lessons there are related hands-on activities to allow students to create their own projects. The Learning Blade system is grant funded through the Dept of Education and Arkansas Public School Resource Center initiated by Gov Asa Hutchinson with no cost to the school. Your school is already set up and ready to use in math, science, GT/enrichment, remediation, computer science and introductory stem classes.
