Registration Fee:            A student entry fee of $20 for each student (not project).

Who Can Compete:

Students who attend public, private, public charter, or home school in the following counties in Central Arkansas: 

• Cleburne
• Conway
• Faulkner 
• Lonoke
• Monroe
• Perry 
• Pope
• Prairie
• Pulaski
• Saline(4-8^th Grade ONLY)
• Van Buren
• White
• Woodruff
• Yell

 

If you do not attend school in one of these counties, then let us help you find the Regional Science Fair that serves your home county.

Divisions:    Junior Division: 4th-8th grade

                    Senior Division: 9th-12th grade

Rules: All projects desiring to be entered into the CARSEF must adhere to the rules of the Intel International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF), which can be found and downloaded here.

Forms: To comply with the State and the International Science Fairs, all projects must be reviewed and approved by the Central Arkansas Regional Science Fair’s Scientific Review Committee (SRC) prior to competition.  In order to ensure projects qualify to compete: ALL COMPLETED FORMS AND MATERIAL MUST BE RECEIVED BY MAIL, POST MARKED ON OR BEFORE THE DUE DATE OFFebruary 16, 2018.   ***IMPORTANT: KEEP A COPY OF ALL FORMS SUBMITTED***

The forms required of all students are:

• Abstract Form (use Abstract Form with 17 categories)
• Form 1 – Checklist for Adult Sponsor
• Form 1A – Student Checklist
• Form 1B – Approval Form with Research Plan

The forms must be submitted in the above order by February 16, 2018.

Any additional forms required of the student project (see rules) should be added after Form 1B in numerical order.
