In this session, participants will get a chance to extract and purify their own DNA while learning about how DNA is replicated, how individual genes are expressed, and how these processes have been used by scientists to change the face of human medicine. And the best part? – you can take your isolated DNA home with you, contained in a fun necklace to show your family and friends!
and
How Does Cancer Begin and How Can We End It? (90 min.) This session is for those who would like to learn about how good cells turn to cancerous ones and what we can do to prevent and reverse this process.
