When: Thursday, April 29th 9:00am to 2:00pmIn this Virtual Best Practices Academy you will hear from experts in the fields of Health and Wellness. The Alliance for a Healthier Generation will help you plan a health-minded re-entry for youth that may have been isolated from family and friends since pandemic measures began last year. The Arkansas Hunger Alliance will teach you fun, yummy and easy ways to engage youth in proper nutrition habits. Audubon Arkansas will equip you to lead youth back outdoors with ready to implement, nature-based STEM activities. Finally, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the Leap Into Science STEM science inquiry and literacy program, and complete the training to receive valuable resources and support to implement the Light and Shadows curriculum*.
