Cyber Society Workshop

March 24, 2021 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Prepare students to live in a cyber society by sharpening their critical thinking skills and exploring the legal and ethical issues.

About this Event

Cyber Society is a universal Jump Start course that focuses on research analysis, critical thinking, teamwork, and written and verbal communication skills. Problem-solve your way through simulated cyber scenarios, both plugged and unplugged, as you cover cybersecurity concepts and the basics of becoming a good digital citizen. Special emphasis will be given to teaching this course in a hybrid and/or virtual setting.

This workshop will be led by subject matter experts from CYBER.ORG. Participants will receive free access to online curriculum materials. Due to grant funding restrictions, this workshop is only available to K-12 teachers in the US.
