Engineering for Us All (e4usa)’s mission is to educate, empower, engage and excite all high school students and teachers in engineering. e4usa is a national initiative that provides high-quality, research-based, inclusive engineering education for high school students by empowering teachers with professional development and a flexible, project-based curriculum. e4usa lowers barriers to engineering education by making it accessible to all high school students and teachers, regardless of background or prior coursework. Our core learning objectives fall into four broad areas of Connecting with Engineering, Engineering in Society, Engineering Professional Skills, and Engineering Design.
Current Job Description:
As Executive Director, I oversee all aspects of Engineering for US All. I ensure that our curriculum is current and look for new ways to improve and grow it. I oversee our professional development opportunities, selecting sites and picking topics for our returning teachers. I seek funding for our organization and manage all of the financial aspects. I seek new teachers, schools, districts, and states to partner with. I work with colleges and universities to provide credit and placement opportunities for our students as well as liaison volunteers.
