A total solar eclipse will visit North America on April 8, 2024. In Arkansas, the eclipse will cover about 2/3 of the state, and the duration of totality will be up to 4 minutes and 20 seconds. The eclipse will enter the state at 1:45 PM and exit at 2:00 PM, with the moon’s shadow moving over 1,700 miles per hour.
