Program Overview
The Arkansas STEM Coalition offers Arkansas students in grades 4-12 the opportunity to strengthen programming skills by participating in technological events, with a total of over 120 computers for loan to educational institutions and non-profit organizations.
The Coalition received a generous financial donation from AT&T to purchase laptops for loan to schools, community groups, and non-profits. eSCO Recycling also donated 45 laptops to the Arkansas STEM Coalition for student and staff use. In 2021, Rock City Digital also donated laptops for program and staff use.
Program Eligibility
In order to participate in the Laptop Loan Program, the following criteria must be met:
- Official educational institutions, community groups, and non-profit organizations servicing grades 4-12 are only eligible.
- The maintenance fee of $1 per laptop must be paid.
- Laptop loans cannot extend past 30 calendar days. (i.e Oct 1st to Nov 1st )
Program Guidelines
If your classroom, school, community group, or organization qualifies for the program and would like to participate in the program, please proceed with the following steps:
- Fill out the Laptop Loan Request Form from the button below or from here.
- Wait 2-3 business days for a response from the Coalition on whether the request was approved. Be sure to include laptop model preferences and pick-up and return dates.
- Pay the invoice provided by the Coalition (423 Main St. in Little Rock) by the check-out date, unless other circumstances are arranged.
- Visit the Arkansas STEM Coalition Location for pickup and return.
- Complete the satisfaction survey within 30 days of the return date.

Can computer loans extend past 30 days?
Organizations may use the laptops for up to 30 calendar days. Due to the vast amount of organizations we serve, no extensions will be given. Please contact info@arkansasstemcoalition.com if you have questions.
Where do we pick up laptops?
The pick-up and return location is at the Arkansas STEM Coalition, on 423 Main Street in Little Rock, 5th floor. Be sure to wait at the double doors on the Capitol Street side under the clock that says “5 Main Place”.
How can we pay to participate in the program?
The Arkansas STEM Coalition accepts cash, checks, and electronic payments through Paypal. In order to pay through cash or checks, please follow the directions of the received invoice and send to the Arkansas STEM Coalition P.O. Box address (P.O. Box 3142, Little Rock, AR 72203). For electronic payments, please visit the Donation page here, fill out the appropriate form, and once completed, you will be redirected to the Paypal gateway for payment*.
*Note: These electronic payments are not registered as charity donations and are categorized as a Laptop Loan payment.
What if we do not return all equipment loaned out?
The organization returning laptops, chargers, and USB mice is responsible for the cost of replacing any lost items loaned. A replacement for a damaged laptop costs $100.
