Linux Tools for High School Educators

This online workshop introduces different tools available to the user in a Linux environment. Tools that monitor web traffic, test connectivity to other devices, trace a route to another device, etc., Linux tools that will be covered are traceroute command, ifconfig command, tcpdump command, and Wireshark application.

  • The following Labs are covered in this workshop:
  • Traceroute Lab
  • ip/ifconfig Lab
  • tcpdump Lab
  • Wireshark Lab

This workshop will be led by subject matter experts from the CYBER.ORG. A Zoom link will be emailed before the webinar begins.

Participants will receive access to online curriculum materials as well as a temporary log-in to the U.S. Cyber Range. Due to grant funding restrictions, this workshop is only open to K-12 educators in the U.S.
