Arkansas State University, with support from Continental Utility Solutions, Inc. (CUSI) of Jonesboro, will host a week-long coding camp for students who are in their 9th, 10th and 11th grade in the current academic year, 2020-2021. These camps will begin on Monday, June 7 – June 11th and also June 21 – June 25th, 2021 from 9 AM to 4 PM each day which will be offered during two separate weeks during Summer 2021. The camp will host 30 participants each week at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. Join your peers as we embark on a programming adventure and learn the fundamentals of computer programming. The camp will focus on creating a hands-on programming experience and introduce participants to the many facets of computer programming. Learn how to apply programming to problems in many different disciplines. Programmable Tello EDU drones will be used to provide a platform for learning the Python 3.7 programming language. Scholarships are available. Students will be accepted in the order they register.
