The ADE Office of Computer Science is excited to provide Advanced Placement Computer Science A training on July 19 – 23, 2021 at no cost to participants. Participants may choose to attend this 5-day workshop either virtually or in-person at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, AR (all travel expenses are the responsibility of the participant). Topics to be covered come directly from the AP Computer Science A Course and Exam Description green book and include: Primitives and Objects, Boolean Expressions and if Statements, Iteration, Classes, Arrays, and Recursion. Primary instructors include Daniel Moix from the ASMSA #CodingARFuture Program and Lori Kagebein #CSforAR Statewide Computer Science Specialist.

This training has been approved by ADE to meet AP CSA initial and 5-year renewal AP training requirements.
