The Arkansas Council of Teachers and Mathematics is hosting the 2021 ACTM Virtual Math Contest!

The contest will be similar in difficulty and content to those in the past.  The biggest difference is a change in venue:  It will take place on each participating junior/high school campus using their own facilities, proctored by the school’s faculty/staff. The contest will be administered using an online testing platform.

There will be one combined regional and state contest event. It will be open over a 3-week time period. Contest dates are Monday April 12 through Friday April 30, 2021. The Contest can be given by each participating campus at any time during this window.  We do request that campuses hold their contest at a time that does not disrupt the students’ learning, such as after 3:30PM or on weekends.

The contest fee will be $2 per student with a maximum of $50 per campus, payable to their Treasurer. If you have any questions, Dr. Garth Johnson is state contest director and can be contacted at [email protected].
