The date is about to be set, but I am trying to gauge interest and assemble a list of people who would like to receive the information I send out about the conference. This event is for physics and related teachers at any level, with many high school and college professors attending.

Each year we have our highest draw from the state where our meeting is held (which rotates yearly), but we encourage members in all of our region states to attend if possible.

We encourage teachers at all levels to present on topics relevant to their classes and physics education — from individual activities or demonstrations they have found to be successful in their classes, to action research or formal research on pedagogy and content or other related topics. Participants may offer a short talk, a long talk, a mini-workshop, or a poster presentation, although presentation is not a prerequisite to attending.

Would you mind distributing this interest form link to Arkansas science (and other?) teachers?

Here’s the full link for the interest survey (for anyone whose district blocks shorteners):

Here’s a shortened URL:

The form does not commit the submitter to going or require payment, it simply helps me assemble a list and begin getting information bulletins sent out.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you!
